The students in the School organize an annual musical evening, which provides the opportunity to unwind and enhances informal interaction between students and faculty. The musical evening that was recently held in April 2001 featured rendering of many Hindi, contemporary and western music by faculty members. It also featured a Kathak performance by student, Manisha Garg. Akhstat, a fouth year student, put up a powerful and skillful performance on the electric guitar. There was also a performance by the School band (Mohit as the drummer, Akil and Saurav as guitarist, Rudra, DC, Ninee Anjalai and Deepa as vocalists).
Recently as a part of academic exercise, an exploration of musical principles and meanings in architecture, a music (western classical music) workshop was coordinated by the Mark Warner (faculty at TVB School of Habitat Studies) and Parag Dwivedi from Bombay.
